Aikido Security announces a successful seed funding round, raising €5 million (~$5.4 million), led by Notion Capital and Connect Ventures. The Belgium-based startup, founded in October 2022, focuses on providing a unified security platform for SaaS companies, addressing the challenges of managing security vulnerabilities across cloud and code.

Aikido's platform offers a single dashboard for enterprises to aggregate security concerns, assess exploit impact, and establish triage guidelines. Key features include a vulnerability ranking system and code scanning, allowing organizations to evaluate security flaws before code merges, ensuring compliance and preventing issues in production.

With over 1,000 installations in the past 12 months, Aikido plans to utilize the seed funding to enhance its platform further and expand its global presence. Startups often struggle with disparate security solutions, and Aikido aims to streamline this process by providing a 9-in-1 security platform to security teams dealing with multiple tools and numerous alerts.

The funding round, supported by Inovia Capital Precede Fund I and angel investors, positions Aikido Security to address the complexities faced by security teams and improve the efficiency of application security for SaaS companies.
