Blindspot Technologies Raises €1.4M for Advanced DDoS Protection
Czech cybersecurity startup, Blindspot Technologies, announces a €1.4 million funding round led by Prozeta, Gi21, and Presto Ventures. Founded in 2023 by David Cermak, Blindspot specializes in advanced DDoS defense and Web Application/API security for the B2B market. The funds from the seed round, including €700,000 from Presto Ventures, €300,000 from Gi21, and €400,000 from Prozeta, will support Blindspot's expansion into new markets, focusing on regions like South-East Asia facing heightened cyber threats.
Blindspot's cybersecurity solution offers two deployment modes: continuous traffic scrubbing or scrubbing only during an attack. With a robust infrastructure managing over 2,000 linked data centers and a worldwide low-latency capability of handling 5 Tbps of traffic, Blindspot aims to address the increasing challenges posed by cyberattacks and emerge as a top DDoS protection services provider globally.
CEO David Cermak expresses the company's ambition to lead in DDoS protection services amid rising cyber threats, including state-sponsored attacks on critical infrastructure. The funding will be crucial in expanding Blindspot's operations and strengthening its presence in vulnerable markets, particularly South-East Asia.
