Seattle-based cybersecurity startup Oleria raised $33.1 million in a Series A funding round to expand its staff size and streamline internal access to back-end systems.

Oleria, aimed at businesses with one thousand or more employees, is bringing cybersecurity into the future and keeping pace with the changing landscape by fulfilling a critical, unmet need in identity security.

The startup, backed by Salesforce Ventures, secured funding from Evolution Equity Partners, Zscaler, Tapestry VC, and others, bringing the total funding to over $40 million.

Former Salesforce Chief Trust Officer Jim Alkove serves as CEO, while Jagadeesh Kunda, a co-founder, brings experience from top positions at JumpCloud, Microsoft, Salesforce, and Amazon Web Services.
